Term Thursday (29)

Verse of the Day
"The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire." - Psalms 29:7

Today's Theological Term
"ALBIGENSIANS - Named after Albi, a city in southern France where they concentrated, these anti-Catholic church dissenters surfaced in the eleventh century.  In doctrine they emphasized church purity, religious liberty, baptism by immersion, and believer's baptism.  Their alleged heresies are accusations made by their Roman Catholic enemies as was the case with all groups who refused to traffic with Rome throughout the Middle Ages."*
