Read Through Your Bible With BibleCLUE! - Day 20

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust." - Psalms 91:1-2

Today's Bible Reading:

Genesis 21

Nehemiah 7:39-73

Psalm 20

Proverbs 20

Matthew 20

Thought of the Day:

"And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is." - Genesis 21:17

God sees us in our distress where we are.  There is no place that we can be that is outside of His gaze!

Bonus Humor:

"And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.  And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age." - Genesis 21:6,7

"His old age"?  Sarah bore a child at 90 years old and she finds the humor in Abraham's old age.

Tell us your thoughts!  We would love to hear from you!

(Please keep discussion productive and related to the chapters or verses listed above.)

If you do not have a daily Bible reading schedule or are looking for a new one, please consider using this one.  Once completed, you will have read through the Old Testament once, the New Testament twice, Psalms twice, and Proverbs once each month.  It is split up in such a way to take approximately the same amount of time to read each day.  For the most part, chapters of the Bible stay as a whole (with some exceptions).

To see the full year at once, you can view the whole schedule here: Yearly Bible Reading Schedule
